Frequently asked
What is Hatchwork?
Hatchwork is a design contest marketplace: clients fund an escrow-protected prize, designers submit competing concepts, and the client picks a winner who uploads the final files and is paid once the client confirms them.
Is my payment protected?
Yes. The prize sits in escrow (HELD) from the moment you fund a contest. It is released to the winner only after you confirm the final files, or automatically 7 days after they are uploaded if you neither confirm nor open a dispute.
How fast do I get design concepts?
First concepts typically arrive within 24 hours of launching a contest, with dozens more submitted as designers across Asia compete for your prize.
Can I hire one designer directly instead of running a contest?
Yes. Use Matching to post a request and receive quotes from individual designers, or buy a ready-made package instantly from the Market.
Ready to see your idea designed?
Launch a contest: first concepts arrive within 24 hours.
